Ghee Rice

Serves 2-3 Persons
Ingredients
Cooked Basmathi Rice with Salt 1 Cup Raw Rice
Ghee or Margarine 4 tbsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Cashewnuts 10
Pepper 10 No. or Pepper powder
Curry Leaves

Method
In a kadai or pan heat oil in a medium flame.
When oil is heated up add the jeera.
Let it splutter.
Add cashewnuts and pepper to it.
Then add curry leaves to it.
When the cashewnut turns golden brown remove the kadai from flame.
Add this contents to the cooked rice and mix well.

Lemon Rice

Serves 2-3 Persons

Ingredients

Cooked Rice (with required salt) Basmathi rice tastes better 1 Cup Raw Rice
Vegetable Oil 3 -4 tbsp
Musturd seeds 1/2 tsp
Red chillies 2 Nos make it into 4 pieces
Urad dal 1 tsp
Bengal gram / Channa dal 2 tbsp
Curry leaves 10 Nos
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 2- 3 tbsp


Method


Take the cooked rice and keep aside.
In a kadai or pan heat the oil in a medium flame.
When the oil is hot enough put the musturd seeds into it.
When it starts spluttering add the red chillies,urud dal, bengal gram and curry leaves .
Fry it till it turn golden brown.
Now add turmeric powder to it. It takes nealy 2 minutes.
Let it cool.
Now add this fried ones to the cooked rice which is sufficiently warm.
Add the leamon juice to it.
Mix well.
The delicious lemon rice is ready.
It tastes well when taken atleast after 1 hour.
